DESCRIPTION
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the management and performance of small to medium-sized technical projects or a definable portion of a larger technical program in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines. Directs and supervises all resources for the performance of project assignments and activities, to include subcontractor efforts. Responsible for the cost, schedule, and technical performance of the entire program. Oversees contractor and subcontractor personnel, monitors workflow, and ensures customer satisfaction. Manages the technical direction of the project from design validation through implementation, testing and final site acceptance (FSA), in accordance with project objectives.
This is a 10 to 12 month position that requires frequent travel to job sites in the Netherlands and Germany.

Major Job Function:
Responsible for the overall control and coordination of the Team's project activities for the installation/migration of IT systems and networks for 5 NATO sites.
Directly interfaces with the Project Manager.
Directs the Program Management Office (PMO).
Responsible for all manpower and resources needed to conduct and support the management and administration of the project operations in order to meet the objectives of the contract, including taking all reasonable steps to ensure the continuity of personnel assigned to work on this project.
Has overall responsibility for the Project Implementation Plan (PIP), the project schedule (PS), project plans, documentation, configuration management, and requirements management.
Acts as the primary contractor representative at Project Coordination Meetings (PCM)

Qualifications:
University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or other related scientific subject. Masters Degree or higher a plus.
Sysadmin certification(s) desired (MCSE, CCNA, A+, etc.).
Previous management experience with IT projects and large system installations required.
Requires demonstrated experience with Windows migration tools and the automatic deployment of server and workstation hardware and software configurations. Preferred migration experience is migration to Windows XP/2003 operating systems.
Minimum 7 years experience in systems software integration in a networked environment.
Minimum 10 years experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
Requires demonstrated experience implementatingof secure infrastructures for defense, government or financial organizations. Knowledge of IT security policies a plus.
Current NATO Secret clearance (plus).
Experience with Prince 2 methodology / Prince 2 certification a plus.

Years of experience: minimum 10 years combined experience in IT management or IT sysadmin functions.
