Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The test manager will plan, schedule, organize and conduct all test and evaluation (T&E) activities. He will develop and document test and evaluation activities to verify that all requirements are met and all tasks were performed according to the contract. Equipment will undergo functional and integration tests to prove the required operations in the integrated environment. Requirements will be verified either by analysis, inspection, demonstration, test, implicit or certification. The test manager will generate test reports, which will include raw test data, data analysis methodology, analysis results, highlight operational deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
This position requires travel to job sites in the Netherlands and Germany.
Major Job function: The test manager reports to the Program Manger and his deputy. The test director will plan, schedule, organize and conduct all tests in coordination with the Deputy Program Manager. He will develop and document test and evaluation activities to verify that all requirements are met and all tasks performed according to the contractual documentation. The test manager will prepare the overall Test and Evaluation Plan (TEP), the Factory Test (FAT) Plan and the System Integration Test (SIT) Plan; conduct the FAT and the SIT; and produce all test reports.
Qualifications:
- Requires several years experience with the installation, integration and configuration of servers and other LAN equipment
- Requires several years of experience in installing, configuring and migrating data, settings and configurations for all network services.
- Requires experience in Windows migrations, to include using Windows migration tools and the automatic deployment of server and workstation hardware and software configurations.
- Knowledge of Active Directory troubleshooting and Windows 2003 protocols (TCP/IP, NETBIOS, DNS, WINS, etc.) is desired.
- Knowledge of HP server equipment and Cisco switches highly desired
- Desired experience in the configuration and use of advanced security devices and tools such as firewalls.
- Network certifications (MCSE, CCNA, A+, etc.) a plus.
- Requires several years experience with the installation, integration and configuration of user end equipment.
- Requires several years experience with user desktop support (user settings, configurations, etc.)
- Requires experience in performing system acceptance testing.
- Requires experience in creating test plans.
- Require technical writing skills.
- Requires experience in analyzing test results.
- Current NATO Secret clearance (plus).
Years of experience: minimum 4 years Windows sysadmin experience, minimum 5 years of Test and Evaluation experience.
